IT IS TIME FOR GTS
Andreas R. Schneider brings years of experience as a Procurement Executive. Since 1996 has been a Corporate Consultant in the fashion industry.
Until December 2020, Mr. Schneider was Managing Partner at GCS Consulting GmbH, Munich, which continues to support the members of the German Fashion Modeverband (Association) Deutschland e.V. in Cologne concerning questions & challenges in the area of “Processes, IT & Logistics”.
In this role, Mr. Schneider has been a member of important steering groups for many years, such as GS1 (Germany) & the Consumer Goods Forum. He is also a co-creator of important sector standards, such as eBIZ, EPCIS & those surrounding RFID.
Mr. Schneider founded the Global Textile Scheme Initiative through Global Textile Scheme GmbH in September, 2020 & serves as its Strategic & Operational System Head.
He manages every facet of the GTS initiative & continues to develop it. He is also the Point of Contact for all it’s dedicated Members with regard to current topics & projects.
